Bryant Christie Inc.
BCI receives and collects information that it asks Users to provide to it before Users can access Services. This information includes personal information BCI requests Users to provide to obtain Service log-in credentials. This information may include Users' names, passwords, addresses, company identification information, information about how Users intend to use the Services, Users' geographic locations, email addresses, telephone numbers, credit card information, and the like.
BCI also receives and collects information from Users as a result of the manner in which Users access Services. This information may include the type of Service and data Users access, how frequently certain Users access certain Services and data, and the types of searches Users engage in when they use the Services. This type of information may also include information about the computer devices Users use in accessing the Services, such as types and models, operating system types, Internet Protocol addresses, and geographic locations from which Users access Services.
How BCI Uses User Information.
BCI uses the information it collects from Users to help provide and improve the Services and to expand the type of Services BCI provides. For example, knowing what Services are used most frequently may assist BCI in allocating its resources to providing and improving its most popular Services. Knowing what types of Users access BCI's Services may assist BCI in marketing and making Services known and available to potential new Users.
BCI may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with other parties it works with. For example, BCI may share information with other companies, organizations, government agencies, or publicly to show trends about the use of Services and the type of data Users access through them. BCI will not share personally identifiable information outside of BCI or use it (i) in a manner that would identify any User to other Users or to the public unless a User expressly consents to such sharing or disclosure; or (ii) unless the such a disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, to enforce applicable Terms of Service, to address fraud, security or technical issues, or to protect the rights BCI, other Users, or the public and the disclosure is permitted by applicable law.
BCI takes steps to help protect it and Users from unauthorized access by third parties to User information that BCI receives and collects. For example, BCI encrypts access to many of its Services to help prevent third-parties from intercepting or interfering with User's log-in information and use of Services. BCI also restricts access to User personal information to employees, contractors and agents who need access to process that information for BCI and who are subject to contractual confidentiality obligations. BCI also periodically reviews its data collection, storage, processing, and security practices to guard against unauthorized access to User information.
International Transfers of Data
The hosting facilities for our website, software and data are located in the United States. Transfers of any User data or personal information to the United States will be protected by appropriate safeguards based on binding corporate rules or the use of standard data protection clauses adopted or approved by the European Commission if the User is located in the European Economic Area.
Notification of User Personal Data Breach
In the case of a User personal data breach, BCI will without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, notify the personal data breach to User and the proper data protection authority, unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. Where the notification is not made within 72 hours, it shall be accompanied by reasons for the delay. Notification of the breach will provide (i) contact details of the appropriate BCI officer to contact for more detailed information, (ii) a description of the nature of the breach, (iii) likely consequences of the breach, (iv) measures the organization has taken or proposes to take to address the breach, and (v) advice on steps data subjects can take to protect themselves.
BCI retains information that we collect from Users where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide Users with a requested service or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).
Due to the possibility of long service cycles, one never knows when a potential or past client will re-engage with BCI and having the background and history of the contracting party will assist BCI in providing a better service. Therefore, please note that unless you instruct us otherwise we retain the information we collect for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process User information, BCI will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because User information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store User information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
